Taranaki's under 16 junior rep team won the Western Quadrangular held in Wellington in the weekend.  They defeated Manawatu 7-5, Kapi Mana/Wanganui 7-5 and Wellington 7-5.  It was an excellent effort considering the top 3 boys were unavailable.  Jacob Gopperth, Miaana Walden and Jaimee Baylis were unbeaten over the weekend.

In the under 14s, held in Palmerston North, Taranaki had two wins and a loss. They defeated Kapi Mana/Wanganui 8-4 and Manawatu 11-1. They lost 10-2 to Wellington.

In the under 12s , held in Manaia, Taranaki lost all three matches, to Manawatu 8-4, Wellington 9-3 and Kapi Mana/Wanganui 7-5.
