Ajeet Rai/Belov (unseeded) have finished runners-up in the 16s Doubles,
beaten 7-6(4) 6-1 by the No.4 seeds

Ajeet Rai has won the 9th-16th playoffs, winning his 2nd round match 6-2 6-3
and then the final 7-5 6-2.
Hamish Mead won through to the semi-final of the Full feed-in Consolation
with 2 further straight sets victories but was then beaten 6-2 6-0.
In the doubles, Rai/Belov beat the No.1 seeds, Keerasuntonpong/Philpot,
6-4 6-2. Mead/Stephens defeated Keiren Rooney/Joshua Snowdon-Poole
6-3 6-4.
This set up a Taranaki semi-final match which went easily to Rai/Belov
6-0 6-2. Unseeded Rai/Belov will play the final Tuesday 11:30am

Ajeet Rai/Sergey Belov and Hamish Mead/Stephens have both recorded 6-3 6-3
victories in the doubles to move to the 16s quarter-finals.
Rai/Belov play top seeds Keerasuntonpong/Philpot whilst Mead/Stephens
(No.3 seeds) play Keiren Rooney/Joshua Snowdon-Poole (No.6 seeds).
Both matches are scheduled for Monday 2pm.

Ajeet Rai won his first round match in the 9-16 playoff against Joshua
Snowdon-Poole 6-2 2-6 6-4. His next match is at 9am Monday.

At the 12s, in the full feed-in Consolation, Jayden Harrson lost his first
match 7-5 6-1. In the doubles Harrison and partner Jake Naylor had a tight
first round victory 6-3 6-7(3) 11-9.
However, they lost their 2nd round match narrowly against the 6th seeds 6-2 2-6
10-7.
At the 16s, Ajeet Rai was undone by the No.2 seed Rob Reynolds 6-1 7-5 in a
third round match. Rai will now play off for 9th to 16th place.
Hamish Mead has won his first match in the full feed-in Consolation 6-2 6-0.
In doubles, Rai and his partner Sergei Belov won their first round match 6-4
6-0. Mead and his partner Benjamin Stephens had a first round bye.

At the 12s being played in Christchurch, Jayden Harrison had a first
round win 6-0 6-4 but was then beaten by the 12th seed 6-3 6-2.
Jayden progresses to the Consolation.
At the 16s being played in Hamilton, Hamish Mead and Ajeet Rai are entered.
Hamish Mead won his first round match 6-1 6-2 before losing to the 7th seed in 3
sets 4-6 6-1 6-1. Hamish progresses to the Consolation.
Ajeet Rai is the 14th seed and won his first round match 7-5 6-1 amd his second
round match 6-2 6-2. Rai will now play No.2 seed Rob Reynolds in Round 3
(Sat 1:15pm).
Rai and his partner are unseeded in the doubles and will play Saturday.
Mead and his partner are seeded 3 and will play their first match on Sunday.

The 14s are being played in Auckland. Caleb Fleming, Louise Waite and
Hikaru Han are participating. Louise Waite is the No.8 seed.
Waite had a bye in the first round followed by a 6-1 6-1 victory, then a third
round win 6-4 4-6 6-4. Waite then played the No.4 seed Tiana Windbuchler
and lost in 3 sets 6-4 4-6 6-3.
Waite will now play off tomorrow for 5th-8th placing.
Han won her first round match 6-2 6-4 and then lost to Windbuchler 6-1 6-2.
She also lost her first round Consolation match to Amelia Lawson 6-0 6-4.
Lawson recently won the Taranaki Open 14s Girls singles title.
Fleming lost his first round match 6-0 7-5. He then lost narrowly in the
first round of the Consolation 3-6 6-1 10-1.
In doubles matches, Waite combined with Meg Henderson (Central) to be the No.8
seeds. Waite/Henderson lived up to their seeding, going out in the
quarter-final 6-2 6-4 to the No.2 seed.
Han combined with Elys Ventura (Northern) but had a first round loss 6-3 6-4.
