Pukekura dominated the Soffe Cup semi final against Pihama with an 11-1 win and no need to play the combines to secure their home court final. They will meet Oakura in the final after Oakura had a tighter clash against defending champions Huatoki coming out winners by 10 games to 6.

In the doubles, Pihama pulled back one victory when brothers Jordan and Beauden Fleming secured a victory over Caleb Fleming and Mike Erb 6-4 6-1. All the other doubles went Pukekura's way securing them a spot in the final. The other semi final was much closer and it wasn't until the final games that an outcome was reached. Ajeet Rai dominated Jaime Simpson in singles with a 6-0 6-1 win. However his fellow men were unable to win any further matches with Jayden Harrison losing to Graeme Mitchell 6-3 6-3 and Alistair Nairn and Kristian Revfeim faltering versus Brady Simpson and Len Adamson. Huatoki evened up the score line with 3 women's wins to Chris Wilson, Lorraine Heerdegen and Jae Wilson over Jackie Mitchell, Ana Spurdle and Chris Davies. The top men's doubles kept the tie alive with Rai/Harrison proving too strong for Simpson/Mitchell winning 6-1 6-3. The bottom men's doubles went to three sets eventually being secured by Oakura's Simpson and Adamson. However Huatoki couldn't counter the injection of Oakura's specialist doubles player Becky Bruckner in the top women's doubles and Oakura secured both these matches. This left Huatoki needing all the mixed doubles to win and despite some close ties Oakura took the overall win to bring secure their finals spot.
