New Zealand's Paul Smith has won the doubles title at the USTA National Men's 45s clay event.
Smith, who lives and coaches in Mission Hills, Kansas teamed up with Mike Fedderly to be top seeds and win the title over the second seeds Arciero and Wilder 6-4 7-6(4).
Smith is a former Men's Open doubles winner and Singles finalist at the Taranaki Tennis Open. He made a return to Taranaki in 2003 with his son, Keenan. Keenan was a winner in the 10s Boy's doubles with Aled Jones.
