At the Technifibre and Leisure Inn Tennis Central Champs in Wellington, played from April 18th - 22nd

In the 12s, Caleb Fleming (3rd seed) finished 4th in the singles, Hikaru Han (top seed) finished 3rd in the 14s doubles with Marie Reid and Hamish Mead won the 16s doubles with Kieran Rooney.

At the National Teams Event being played from 24th -27th April

In Wellington, Central A won all their matches except the last match, going down to Canterbury, thus finishing runners-up. Caleb Fleming was in this team.

Central B have one Taranaki player, Jayden Harrison. They had 1 win (over Waikato-Bays). 

In the 16s girls being played in Christchurch, Taranaki is represented by Louise Waite.  Central finished 3rd.
