Soffe

Manaia Black defeated Pukekura 10-6 in the Soffe Cup final played at Manaia today.  Manaia Black won all four womens singles but only one mens singles match to take a 5-3 lead.  The mens and womens doubles were shared, making the score 7-5.  Manaia Black then took three of the combines to run out winners 10-6.  Manaia have now won the Soffe Cup for a record-equalling 5th consecutive time.  Huatoki are the only other club to perform that feat, 1982-1986.

Division 3

Manaia travelled to Waitara and came out winners of Division 3 after the final score was 8-8.  Manaia won on a countback, as they also had to do in their semifinal a week earlier.
