The Taranaki Women's Senior team defended their title at the New Zealand teams championships earlier this year, beating major association teams from Canterbury, Auckland and Manawatu in their pool. 
After only one win on day one, the team hit back on the last two days to claim victory.

Hamish Mead was crowned New Zealand 14s Doubles champion (with Kieran Rooney) at the Tennis NZ National Championships, as well as a number of regional singles/doubles titles.

Ajeet Rai was a member of Tennis New Zealand's Tour of Europe for elite age-group athletes.  The trip finished on a high when he won an open tournament in Amsterdam.

Beth Webster is a long-serving member at the Rotokare Tennis Club. She is heavily involved in the administration of the club and also organises all the catering from business house meals to representative fixtures and social events. She still plays regularly
