Taranaki will challenge the holders Wanganui for the Christie Cup, the symbol of supremacy amongst central districts associations, on Sunday 13th December at the Rotokare courts in New Plymouth starting at 10am.

Taranaki played Wanganui last weekend as part of a hexangular of associations and came away with a narrow 7-5 win.  That match's format was different in that it was only 4 men, 4 women and doubles matches carried double points.  The Christie Cup match involves 6 men, 6 women, with 1 point for each match won.  Singles, doubles and combines will be played encompassing 24 matches.
