Huatoki stormed to the lead in the Soffe Cup competition with a complete rout of Central Finance Rotokare 16-0. The top men's match between Huatoki's Jayden Harrison and Rotokare's Kyle Crowley was the highlight with Harrison winning a marathon match 6-2 5-7 7-6. Murray Keast defeated Shane Devlin 6-4 7-5, Rhys Sutton was too good for Laurie Jordan 6-4 6-2 and Ronan Avery stepped up to beat Ryan Crowley 6-2 6-3. Tracey Old defeated Julie Foley 6-4 7-6 whilst Ellen O'Byrne was severely pushed in her win over Tania Atkinson 2-6 6-3 7-5. It was easier for the No.'s 3 and 4 with Chris Wilson too good for Helena Goodin 6-2 6-0 and Lorraine Heerdegen controlling Brittaney Carr 6-1 7-5. Huatoki were pushed to 3rd set super tiebreaks in the top men's doubles and bottom ladies doubles but it was otherwise a comfortable victory in the remaining matches. Rotokare remain bottom of the table.

RE/MAX Pukekura settle into second place on the table with a comprehensive 14-2 win over Oakura. Oakura's Brady Simpson took out the top men's match over Meto Snegirev 6-4 5-7 6-2 and Ana Spurdle went the distance in a win over Jeanette Harding 7-5 3-6 6-0 at No. 4. The remaining matches all went to Pukekura with David Barnard, Thomson Matuku and Andrew Hood impressive over Nick Loveridge, Simon Spurdle and Scott Johnson. Pukekura's No.1 woman, Louise Waite, made her first appearance of the season and trounced Sue Oldfield 6-1 6-0. Linda Reid was pushed by Bailey Bruckner 0-6 6-2 6-2 in the No.2 match and Donna Thorne was far too strong for Chris Davies 6-2 6-0. It was all one way traffic in favour of Pukekura except in the top ladies doubles where Waite/Reid were severely pushed by Oldfield/Bruckner 6-4 5-7 7-6. Oakura drop to fourth on the table.

At Stratford, Thomson O'Neil Stratford fielded their strongest possible team to record a big 13-3 win over Farmlands Okaiawa/Manaia. Former Manawatu rep player. Sam Howard, debuted for Stratford and survived a decent challenge from Vince Baylis 7-5 1-6 6-2. Stratford's Andy Roberts enjoyed the drop down to No. 2 as he beat Josh Murdoch 6-3 6-2. Bruce Cleland and Grant Kite rounded it off with Stratford victories over Alaister Murdoch 6-4 6-4 and Andrew Baylis 6-4 7-6. Stratford's Lyn Stanners was pushed initially by Lauren Fraine 7-6 6-1. The combined side picked up their first win with veteran Helen Johnson taking out Mylie Thwaites 6-0 6-1. The Stratford ladies took out the remaining matches with Regan Boland winning over Dayna Corbett 1-6 6-0 6-2 and Kristen Lourie defeating Brianna Matthews 6-0 6-1. Okaiawa/Manaia had a couple of father/son combinations in the men's doubles but both matches went to Stratford. Howard/Roberts defeated the Baylis's 6-4 0-6 7-6 and Cleland/Kite beat the Murdoch's 6-2 6-0. Okaiawa/Manaia managed to win the top two combines matches but otherwise a good win to Stratford with the result lifting them to third place on the table and Okaiawa/Manaia to fifth.
